Budman and someone else on here also had the same issue, i think it was nick. Maybe one other. I have learned not to use the ebrake when wheeling. This is why i got the locker. I need a front one now.but i would rather sas. So until then. It will have to wait.

Yeah, that was what I am thinking also. A buddy just got a custom aluminum bed box made for his Ram, full size expo. I like that idea but on a semi-crawling tacoma. I think I would move the second spare and fuel to the front rack though so I dont end up with all the weight at the back. And not sure if I would make it a custom popup, just throw another Autohome on top of the bed, the rack will be longer on this one.

Tahoe ruled out last night so I'll be seeing you sometime around Thanksgiving. Maybe with @Bentrodder?

Brett and George's ebrakes "popped" at at Slickrock. Mine did the same. Everyone thought I broke something going up the waterfall.

We stick shift drivers need to use the ebrake off road, unless you can toe-heel. I can't.

    #clownfeet

Maybe I'll just go lighter on the ebrake and not fully engage it next time. Or regear and get a crawl box.

K I think maybe Saturday is the only likely contender. Friday we usually head straight up to Mt Tam to get the fuck away from everyone. Well, that doesn't quite pencil out, but at least I'm not stuck all day on 101 on Black Friday.

Haven't figured out specifics with the wife yet, but I'll see how she reacts when I say Lagunitas. She likes it.

Will you be in SR all weekend, or are you guys going up and down 101 at all?

I inserted a Tallon Classic Vehicle socket into the dash and it provides a ball to use a ram mount from there. that way I can remove the mount easily when not in use and need to use the cupholder for a 64oz slurpee!

All preference. It's like the 285 vs. 255 argument. Pros and cons for both.

For me, I like to tell my truck what gear it should be in. I'm usually wrong, but at least I'm calling the shots. It's an expression of my freedom and liberties. So, with every row of the stick, and depression of the clutch pedal, God shed his grace on thee; for purple mountain majesties, above the enameled plain, and sea to shining sea.

    Sucks in traffic tho.

this is the box he had custom made. I think it is losing some side cubby space in front and back of the wheel and the side swingups I may change for a back cooking area, but all that can be done when custom.
