    10+ years on prednisone. Am off of it now - does bad thing to you over time and makes one very cranky. Currently on Mesalamine which is working good enough to keep the weight on. On the plus side, I have no problems loosing weight - just stop taking the meds and the pounds fly off - similar to eating burritos daily...
