I know my limit straps were making a shit load of noise in the front in, i readjusted them and all my noise went away. It was kinda surprising how much noise they made.

Haha! I am actually in a pickle. Driveline shop said they couldn't do my axles without destroying the birfield completely?? So now I have to prove them wrong and my limit straps came in and no idea how these work... LOL

Exactly why I had cvj build mine! Took Dakota and I 6 hours to do his

Super easy. Stick the threaded spring up through the mount, put one nut on until height is correct then the other nut as goes on and acts as a lock nut

It's when I turn the wheel side to side "clunk clunk clunk". Washed both uppers and lowers and lubed the uppers but I'll try the lowers

I have the DSC coilovers and the clickers make some noise, the uniballs obviously make noise when they're not lubed. Gotta make sure bolts are tight on a regular basis. It's a little more maintenance but it's worth having

Did you send everything to CVJ? How much was it? I might do that. Since I will probably destroy everything doing it myself

I sent the extended shafts to them and they built brand new oem (besides the shaft). Before core return it was $550 or so. But you could send your oem's in and it would be $80 to switch out the axle shafts. They are super quick too

Also get the inner extended red boots. I ran them on my stock cv's and these and love them. So worth the extra $$$

Yeah. That's what I'm doing. $100-150 per axle for everyThing brand new plus the LT axles and high angle boots.

Going on 65k on my Race series and I do have replacements in a box. I went in an did a full cleaning with just simple green (watered down) and a rag. After they dried i applied some Bel Rey twice in a 2 week period and it definitely shut up the squeek. Id be real curious as to what lubes these guys are using.

When i finally get around to rebuilding im going ti leave them dry until they start squeeking and go right to the dry moly lube. I really wonder if that triflow played a part in the deterioration of the teflon.

I used triflow at the recommendation of Total Chaos but have heard mixed things on it. On my new ones I have been using superlube with PTFE. It comes in an aerosol can with a extension nozzle so it is easy to get into the uniballs. Then it drys into a nice film and doesn't attract silt and dirt.

But, there are different triflow lubes? So im curious.

I use the dry moly and its the same. It leaves a grey film but does not attract dirt. I switched from a aresol triflow to a drip triflow and then the belrey. I really think i purchased the wrong stuff when i started applying the lube.

    Oh well, lessons learned.

I got the tri flow from Wheelers Offroad. It is a liquid that drips out. I was never really happy with it though. In the heat it was really runny and if it gets cold it goes solid pretty easily.
