I really hope this works out for all of you, I was in the first GB and it took forever to get ours...but we did get them and I absolutely love it. I hope you all find it worth the wait in the end...or that it gets settled appropriately.

I'm starting to wonder if he spent the money he was planning on skimming off the sale out of 100 assuming he was going to get there. Now he doesn't even have the money to order the first 50. Hence, why he cannot give refunds.

I have contacted Airflow, with a link to the thread, the amount of money which has been taken without product, by a guy who consistently blames them for the issues.

Hopefully they'll either reply to my email or join the forum and comment. They have his personal info and should be able to see if there's an actual order or not. Hoping since OP has blamed them and called them out for all of the screw ups out and made them look bad that they'll have an interest in providing info to save a little face.

Yeah.. I emailed them last night as well. From their perspective it's not directly their problem, but I'm hoping the marketing nightmare this thread creates is enough to spur something.

Again, that's just one theory. We shouldn't have to sit here and speculate. We should get a real update.

Sure.. I don't expect them to come in swinging, but them looking like shit will play in the favor of the guys who are SOL here. Particularly if they have no record of a second order.

If that's the case that piece of shit should have been selling his truck or taking out a loan at money mart as soon as he realized "oh shit, I'll never sell 100, I'm fucking everybody over"

I kinda have a hard time thinking he upped it to 100, the previous GB only had 14 members listed for interest in a second batch.

    14 -> 100 is a huge gap to bridge.

Yeah.. There's at least 67 people who's opinion of Airflow is effected by this, and marketing rules of thumb are something like "everyone with a bad experience tells at least 10 other people about it". Plus TW is pretty high traffic so I'm sure there's a line of unknown people who have been influenced. Sounds like something worth dealing with to me, although I doubt it's their fuck up so I'm not sure what they'd be willing to do.

I believe "highly doubt" to be a gross underestimation..... no one in their right mind would sign up for this now

More than that, possibly. The previous 50 group buyers got fed the same Airflow won't pay this, Airflow causing delays, etc,. lines.. the only difference is they actually got the product in the end.

So he's been throwing arrows at Airflow from the get go. :notsure:

Maybe they really are that shitty to deal with, but I don't see a company who did a previous agreement of 50 items would suddenly do another for 50, and then increase it to 100 minimum. From their end it doesn't make any sense to do that. Turning down an order for 50 pieces because they want 100? Why wouldn't they want to get paid for 50 and ship to a single address?

Bulk orders are a business' best friend. I don't see them only selling batches of 50, either.

I hear ya, it's all open to interpretation until we get some clear cut answers. Just sick of the sparse wishy washy answers that have been given with lots of questions left unanswered.

I get on here and see 20+ updates, hoping one is from @mahaloTaco or tcbob, but nothing yet....
Mahalo said he would have an update from airflow yesterday afternoon, and he never gave us the update
hopefully tcbob will have something for us after hes done talking to this guy

otherwise there might be a bunch of angry tacoma drivers doing a roadtrip to LA.... let me know when we leave

Not sure if a business would send $35k+ halfway across the globe with COD payment terms.
