All the trails that Iused to go in the area are pretty much closed! wtf it seems like every good off roading spot in sd was made into new houses or was blocked off one way or another. The last trail I new of was off the 905 behind San Ysidro High School but the last time I went there was a gate and a sketchy guard there... So does any one know of any good trails left in San Diego??

If it's already open then there are Coral Canyon and Pine Valley.. Off 8 east.. We actually tried to hit the Coral Canyon last week but it was closed due to a stormy weather.. It's plenty of trails there, most of them require at least open 4x4..

Thanks Ryan but I like to stay out of pine valley... the trails are too narrow and the last time I went out there I eneded up with a concussion! haha long story short I was on a quad and a dumbass in a truck cut me off sending me of a jump made for a dirt-bike! wasnt pretty but Im sure someone will know of something good..

905 was the best spot for trucks! it was open and had wide berms as well as wide jumps and trails!

Yah I for got to tell you about Valim's light bar hahaha.

As far as trails you know about proctor valley hahahaha that's a no-go! Ive gone to the end of the 905 once....made a right and splash around the mud there before for a few mins. You're right dude, everything is being taken away and going under construction for new homes and aren't being built:notsure:. WTF  I personally don't like PV myself either. I would prefer CC or Ocotillo/Ocotillo Wells myself.

Hey Manny, dude I work in the Marine office right next to the Big 5 bro.

I got it from Defiant engineering.. The owner of that place is a really nice guy to deal to. You can actually tell him how many lights you want to put on your bar, and he will fab it for you. And yes it's does hold 3 - 9 inch Hella 4000.. The good thing about that bar is that there is no drilling or taking off a bumper required for installation. Or and a good approach angle for the trail.. I can PM you his number if you interested.

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
We go wheeling in Pine Valley all the time. It is definitely not too wide for our trucks. Well, at least the main trail isn't.... :)

You haven't been on the Otay Mtn truck trail then.. haha

The area behind the SY high school has been closed for a while now. There are ways of getting back there but idunno if it's worth getting a ticket.

I'm down to explore and look for some trails around the SD area.. It's time for some homework (google earth)

If Im right they closed that area off a couple years ago because some dumbass was sneaking guns over the border there and got caught! there were signs posted everywhere and sherriffs all over it last time I went

It's completely bolt on bar, no welding required. All the hardware comes in a package. Took me around 1 hour to install it, cause I didn't have a second hand to hold it for me. Check Pm

I can't understand how someone can get scratches in PV, unless you take the small 4x4 section...that place is wide. If you want open space go to Ocotillo and the desert areas.

CC is one of my favorite spots especially because there is always something for everyone.
