It gets us places we've never been before..

    And look awesome getting there!:mudding:

    But tangible wise?
The long large bed for a small truck with a soft open tailgate and stamped tacoma letters.

Oh. and rare to see. Not sure why people love owning something every other guy on the street owns. i.e. Ram, Silverado, F150 etc.

I agree, but R is in the wrong spot, or should have some sort of lock so you cant hit it by accident, done it a bunch of times already.

So far here in FL specially around my city it seems that they giving away Tacomas, back in March when I just got mine,it was extremely rare, people stooped me to ask questions about the truck , but now on my 7 miles drive from work to home I see at least 3 or 4 on the road and that number is just raising. (not many inferno at least )

Sucks when you start to see them.. lol
The IS i own is the only one in town!
I live where guys like their dodges and f150s like they're gonna be worth something some day.
Small city with maybe 7 3gen tacos. none modded.
Lots of 2gens but still, in comparison low quantity vs. the domestics..

No matter what, these are rare trucks.

There's so many reasons but primarily its a "real" and rugged 4X4 and can tow my 3100lb travel trailer. It wheels like a Jeep but can still do some real work!!! OH and huge aftermarket for upgrades and customizing!!!

Do they have a doctor for this? Driven manuals for over 20 years, well more if you count the manuals I drove in the service, but anyways never had this issue before. It happens when sitting at a light and go from N to 1st, I go beyond the first second "gate" and then end up putting it in r, still trying to learn my own strength I guess. Every other manual I have driven you have to do something to open the gate to r, or r is on the other side, not next to first.

But anyways, got a number to a good doc?

I just want to to say this is an awesome truck, I have the 2016 Inferno TRD Sport DCSB. This vehicle works like a truck, rides like a car and grabs a bunch of attension. I have to say it's so quiet inside and has all the nice to have options. I have a story about my first Tacoma, it was a 2000 TRS SR5 5 speed loaded, air, windows, locks, rear locker, bed liner, the works. It had 175,000 miles on it when I bought it from a friend. I had to put a new exhaust from the cat back, front brake pads and a good cleaning. I always wanted a 4X4 Tacoma but even used they were much more then every other truck, i got this one for a great deal so i couldn't pass it up. The antilock brakes didn't work either but the brakes were fine. I replaced the rear bumper, timing belt and water pump, I also checked all the fluid levels because there were absolutly no leaks under the truck. I drove the truck for a while and another friend of my told me about the frame recall on the 1995 to 2000 Tacoma's, i figured the guy I bought it from had it checked out, turns out he didn't, long story short Toyota cut me a check to buy the truck back for $12,997.50. Wow is all I had to say, any auto manufacture that stands behind their product like that is OK with me. As far a comfort, the seats are great, the dash is easy to read and all the controls are withn reach. I think it a great truck and I plan to keep it for a long time.

My first manual was nearly 25 years ago, a three on the tree F series. Anyway, I get a fair amount of resistance going left past 1-2 and since I use a light touch unless I'm actually looking for reverse it's never been an issue. That said, I took a very long road trip with my siblings last spring and my sister found reverse when looking for first a couple of times. I'm honestly baffled by it. I feel that there's a pretty significant jump in resistance on the neutral line when you get all the way left and I don't see how she was going past it.

I do, but I'm also biased. I'm married to her.
