I have mine behind the back seats. I have 2 10 inch kickers that came with a box that fits perfectly. I got it off Amazon for I think 179$ not including the wiring and amp. If you don't need storage, this is the way to go in my opinion!

Yah but you got a double cab, i wish it was that easy, the access cabs got that limited space, and its even harder to put a sub in there when you use the back :/

I put my 10 inch fosgate behind the passenger seat in my standard cab. Then mounted the amp under the drivers seat. It bumps pretty good.

Had both: under the driver seat on a suba and behind the rear seat in my current DC. I did not like the under the seat option. See if you can try one out before you get it. It got old after a while, then changed it to passenger side and the wife hated it. Good luck.

No problem man! Found that same thing but with one upfire 12. i got my sub tonight actually, with my new radio. Then realized my seat is going to need to be lifted about and inch to make it and under seat sub :annoyed:
So as of now it is chillen on the floor behind my driver seat and it definitely sounds good, really fills in that low end on my songs!

Hey man, i have since graduated from the shallow underseat sub i used to have set up. All i did was buy longer bolts of the same thread and pitch and used a homemade 1" spacer to lift the seat up to allow for clearance of the sub. I now have a front firing 12" center box in my access cab pushing 500w rms as the 200 rms shallow just wasnt enough punch for me. I dont have any pictures of the shallow underseat 10" for you sorry man. But if i were you since you have a double cab, dont waste your time putting a seat shaker under your ass (thats all it really was) buy a ported sub box that goes behind both rear seats. I drove a customers double cab tacoma with dual 12" kickers in custom sealed boxs and boy was i jealous. Dont waste your money on a powered sub when you could spend it on part of a bigger better setup. If you still want to go with a powered unit i have seen people mount two 10" powered subs on the back wall of the cab behind the rear seats and they enjoyed the set up. Search a little on youtube try to find some ideas.

This convinced me i needed a better sub in my truck although its not a double cab.

Also here check these tacoma audio packages out.
