Hmm, I'd say he was the best at the big hit for sure. Good in the corners too but the best... I think Pronger might have just for his checking there. I'm not sure how Stevens would fare in the modern league. Unfortunately unlike Pronger we didn't get to see him succeed both before and after you could knock superstars out of the league to win.

Not kidding around so much with meme's, was your question for @OZ-T going to be who will win for the fight to the basement in the Pacific? My bet is on Calgary but I think Vancouver will give them a run for their money. Especially if they keep putting Elliot out and he keeps up the stink show.

Yeah they have the current lead but more young talent on their team. I'm guessing at some point the old dogs on Vancouver will just roll over and collect their paychecks until deadline day or next year.

@OZ-T Have you heard the trade rumors around the Flames? Hamilton's name is confirmed up for grabs with lots of talk around Bennett too. I would expect Vancouver to consider selling off a few assets to secure a better draft position but Calgary is pulling another Brian Burke maneuver if they trade off either of those young players for something immediately tangible on a team that has lots of holes to fill.

 

I'm super happy for that guy. After being tossed in the garbage by the Oilers with management basically pinning their GAA on him I want to see him win the Vezina a couple of times!

Hall is even showing off this year that failure was just a part of being an Oiler for a long time. That being said I hope McJesus and company can turn it around this year. They definitely have the talent to do so if they can get everyone to show up.
