Yep, as much as I love the idea of a 2nd gen again, Im in no place financially to take such a big loss, especially when I know its certainly worth more than $26.5k trade in, they would turn around and list that shit for $32k tomorrow. I don't owe that much but still, have put the money in, just a bit sad, really wanted to walk out to a new used truck tomorrow. Oh well, count my blessings, I live an extravagant life compared to 90% of the rest of the world. Sorry to disappoint guys.

Dah fuck is that nasty shit. This is why I want back to a 2nd gen, some of these third gen builds are bro nasty and embarrassing to tacoma owners as a group.

    Bummer.
Maybe you can do the kbb thing where another dealer will buy yours without you buying one of theirs so you can get more else where.

Any chance of selling it outside of that Chevy dealer, to get your $31K? CarMax, maybe?

Personally I wouldn't waste my time with CarMax.
They offered me 20k on my truck that was worth around 28k on a trade in.

I ended up doing the the kbb instant cash offer and was happy with the result.

Maybe, I'm gonna let them brew a bit, I wasn't asking for anything crazy, low end of trade in value, $30k same offer I was getting everywhere else for trade in, not haggling price on the 2015, had financing arranged. Idiot used car manager or GM, even the sale chick was a bit miffed when I pressed as to why the low ass trade number.

Anyone else local that will? I sold my other truck to a dealer that was local and I didn't buy one from them.

    Truck stuff
That truck is def a disappointment and I love all Generations of Tacomas just not all customization choices. The upgraded features and interior, along with the updated looks of the 3rd gen are what sold me. I'am glad I'm not having any issues but then again if the seats are as comfortable and I found that deal before getting my 17 I would have jumped on it!

@ZachMX Good luck and hopefully they call you back to work a deal thats fair.

Thanks man me too bud! But I'm blessed to have a good life, nice truck, mx bike, roof over my head, food to eat, more than many. All about perspective. Just irritates me the whole car buying process, wish it was more straight forward, here's your trade value, heres the price, heres your APR, everything is a hidden shell game of how much they can squeeze of you. Being stationed in the NE the last 4 years has been the worse, swear everyone thinks they can walk all over you or low ball you on everything, trucks, bikes, etc.

Why not just buy the pro, and sell your 3rd gen private party?

Hahahaha, I don't have the income to have 2 car loans at once bud. Have to dump one before the other. Maybe someday I'll be able to do that, but while I'm active duty and finishing grad school, not so much, does make sense.

We sold a car on one of those KBB instant offer things. In and out with a check in 30 mins.

I'm not saying to carry 2 car loans, but secure the pro first, then sell your third gen on your own terms quickly after..
