Yep Daniel did it last weekend for me. I have been getting a CEL intermittently since Monday though, P0101. I have cleaned the MAF and that didn't help. I have a new MAF on order but I don't think that is the problem. I have looked for any kinds of vacuum leaks, cant find anything. I talked with Daniel for a bit and I think it is that bully dog tune that is causing the issues. The throttle response is not good. I drove toshi's s/c taco a long time ago and it was smooth as silk through the power band. Mine seems to "surge" along. I don't have my wideband afr gauges yet, but they are on the way. Till then I don't know how rich it is running (I know it must be very rich, cause my mpgs are in the crapper right now). I have an email in to bully dog right now, but they have not answered yet.

In the end, I may put the tune back to stock and head to my dealership and ask them to flash the TRD ECU to the truck.

Edit: I need to see if @josh0351 will stop by my work sometime and let me drive his up the road. He has the exact same setup as me, only his was installed a couple months prior. I wonder if bully dog changed the tune during that time frame.

 

I got P0101 code through my ultragauge too.. I have no idea what it could be, besides a loose gas cap. I cleared it from the UG, and havent gotten it since. Could also be the winter gas mix.. I got 12.9 mpg.

 

I cleared mine through the UG too. But it has come on twice in the last week. And after having the truck 7 years with no CEL ever coming on, I think it has something to do with the SC install. My thought is on the tune though. I trust Daniels work and I don't get the impression that it is hardware related. I just wish we had different tunes so I could verify

 

I had done nothing to my truck except get gas. Maybe wait it out another week and see how things go?

how much was the MAF by the way? OEM?

 

Yes it is OEM. Got it off Amazon for $55 I believe. It isnt prime, but I think it said should be delivered next week.
