I did the same exact thing, and I've regretted it since. Mostly because my truck is a daily and the speed limit to my work is 75. So listening to that muffler at 6 in the morning is the last thing I wanna hear. But at the same time I like how mean it sounds

I feel your pain. When I bought my Tacoma the dweeb who owned it before me had a Viper car alarm installed and it drives me up the wall. I need to find someone who can un-leach this f***ing thing from my system. The sensors are so sensitive that if I close my tailgate normally it'll either give me the classic Viper chirp or it'll set off my alarm, sending me scrambling for my keys. Also, last weekend I was doing a little wiring work myself and had to disconnect the battery. Yeah, surprise that the alarm system didn't like that either and registered the change in voltage and set off the alarm while I had my head in the engine bay. It scared the crap out of my roommates too, and they were inside of our apartment... need to get this POC sorted out before it immobilizes my engine while I'm parked in the middle of nowhere camping.

... sounds like alarm is functioning as designed... I would expect it to chirp if someone opened the tailgate. You can adjust sensitivity with a Phillips screwdriver if you want.

Oh worse man, theres a controller box in there for the steering wheel volume etc. that looks like a carton of night crawlers, and a harness scabbed in that looks like the main loom from my 78' Cutlass....what's awesome about it though is after I spilled all that shit out and shoved it back in, I am not getting anymore ground squeal and the channels aren't coming and going:thumbsup:

Do you know where to get the actual shifter indicator plate thingy? Mine has a crack right between the 4 and D. Might as well replace the crappy bulb while I'm in there...

that black square next to the left of the rest of your pedals. the think you're supposed to rest your foot on when its not on the clutch.

Does anyone here know how to rebuild the stock UCA's? mine are clicking and boots are torn.
