Available length of rope from the drum to double back depending on location of anchor points. Double the power=Half the line speed. Time and energy of rigging/re-rigging in potentially dangerous situation (dark, cold, wet, tired, broken, etc). Plus the cost of the snatch block and rope extensions to make it usable basically equals get the correct tool for the job.

You should have these anyway if you have a winch so cost isn't the same :D

    I agree with your post

    Love my two m8000s though

I've got 10k, two snatch blocks, an extension, and a ton of shackles. Gotta be prepared for the fun stuff!

The only thing with that code though with them, is that it is really hard to find anything worth buying as they have a huge restriction list, so anything good is usually on that list and you can't use the code with it.

Don't bother reading the list, just add a bunch of shit in your cart and keep trying the code.

Says icon is not approved but thats how I got my bumps, I was gonna buy some new coilovers for the front as well

Wanted some ARB stuff like a compressor, but could never get the code to work. Just ended up giving up on it.

Yeah id just keep trying, it seems every time they enter a new code some things can either be used or not. The one time it wouldn't work for icon and the next it did. Either way just send them a message, just tell them you want 20% off x product and see what they can do.

Thinking about doing a 2 or 3 day solo trip down 395 to head home to LA for Thanksgiving. Any suggestions on where to camp/visit?

Check out Roadtrippers app (or their website: https://roadtrippers.com/). That may give you ideas to stay at.

Found something I wanted on the site that is supposed to be restricted, but the coupon is working for it, so I may just have to suck it up and buy it.

If they had some more ARB products I would ask them about that, but they don't have the awning sides or a CKMA12 Compressor, only the twin compressor.

Looks like a cool checklist tool but I like to finger poke everything when packing and unpacking so I don't know if there would be much added benefit for me.

I will be out at Hiddenfalls outside of Marblefalls, and its starting to sound like there may be a few other groups out there. Should be a pretty good time, plenty of folks camping and wheeling.
