2nd gen seats into a 1st gen

    will they fit. I am going to buy aftermarket buckets but they only make brackets for the 1st gens and the x runner. will either of these fit. Thanks in advance.

    Well... I don't see any reason why the x-runner doesn't have the same brackets as our tacomas...

    that is what i was thinking but don't want to spend $$$$ then to find the brackets don't fit. thanks for the help

    first gen brackets definitely will not fit.

    this coming from a guy that has completely rebuilt his 06 interior and attempted swapping old 2nd gen seats into a first gen. brackets are nowhere near close

    x-runner seats should fit as technically it's the same truck, same cab, same frame. Only real difference is one is a 4x4 and one sits lower like a car. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on it, but I don't see why they would not swap over without any issues.
