Do any of you have wheel spacers? Just wondering if it's ok to add or not... I've done some searches but no real answers. Some say yes some say no.

I just want my tires to stick out a little bit.

Get hub centric brand name ones and then you should have no issues. Also torque the bolts correctly! Don't go by feel or what you think is the right tightness

Thanks! I'll look into those. I assume you did all 4 and not just the front.

Although I wonder if just doing the front would give it more of the SC look.

Not sure what "bilys" are concerning wheel spacers.

To be honest man they were given to me by a local member when i was installing my suspension. Not even sure what size or brand they are lol

As long they are the bolt on style there's nothing wrong with them (in moderation of course). Bora is also a really good brand. That's what I run.

I've also run spacers on a 500hp WRX and a 350hp BRZ. Zero problems on anything - except some tire rub on the Tacoma.

Might as well close the forum. Everything can be found by using Google. :notsure:

The point was to encourage searching...Search 'wheel spacers' on TacomaWorld and you'll get 5 pages of threads that have been created.

Hell, even on a Google search, after 3 ads and a YouTube video, Tacomaworld is the first result!

I always search through Google and add the word "TacomaWorld" at the end for best results

You can make it even better by doing a google search like this:

site:tacomaworld.com then enter whatever you're searching for here

It will only show results from whatever website you typed in after 'site:'

I understand everyone says google. I know how to use google... but as most of you can tell I posted in the 3rd gen forum... if you guys can use google and find this same topic for 2016+ tacomas I would love the links!

I understand TW users use a lot of sarcasm but since I'm searching for a 2016+ not really much to search for...

Thanks for everyone with a lesson in using google but, google did not give me the answer I was looking for since everything is mainly 2nd gen and 1st.

I suppose you all use advice from 1st and 2nd gen Tacoma info for your 3rd gens?

I got 1 inch Bora wheels spacers from the group buy a few months ago. So far I love the stance, while keeping the stronger OEM wheels.

Only thing you need to do is follow the install instructions. Everything needs to be torqued properly and then re-checked after a few miles. And I would say every tire rotation to double check.

2nd gen I know but this is what a 1inch spacer did for me.

Thanks! That looks nice! Not too far out and not too tucked... I think the 1.25" ones should be just what I need.

Forgot to add, reason why I ended up with Bora is because it has a full warantied and made in the USA.
Also it is hubcentric on both sides of the spacer, meaning it sits on the lip on the hub, and has a lip for the rim to sit on to. def stronger set up then others.

Idk why people go on about wheel bearings, a wheel spacer does the same thing as a rim with greater negative offset and pushes the tire farther out.

i was stuck between .75 and 1 inch. settled on 1 because it would stick it just pass the outside edge of the fender so i wouldnt get to much tire sling with rocks and such

I've only been able to find eBay ones for 2016+ in the 1"... I want the spidertrax sold by bilstein because it's a reputable manufacturer but only comes in 1.25"
