Due to an uninsured motorist pulling out in front of me on the highway and totaling our commuter car.

I had to trade in my 2016 Sierra SLT.

We picked up a 2016 Prius and this beauty!

So far, running into the same issues as most of you. Howling like a wolf, but I am enjoying it!

200 miles in 20 mpg. No plans for mods really... until I get all the finances figured out.

    Congratulations

Send a thank you note to the uninsured motorist, who showed you the light to have the strength to go from chevy to Toyota

    Lol thanks!

Hard to knock that Sierra though. It was an awesome truck. comparing apples to oranges here. But it got better MPG that the tacoma, bigger, more powerful, etc..etc.. price tag was a crap ton more though.

Not looking to get into that debate, just enjoying what I have!

The uninsured motorist really screwed me though. Just bought the car brand new 4 months ago. paid mostly cash for it. put a high deductible on it because of that. And now I am out 4 months of deprecation (2k according to them) and my $1500 deductible.

No use in suing this person. They cant afford insurance, they wont be able to pay a lawsuit...

Sierra 1500 gets better MPG than Tacoma? Didn't know that. That is awesome!

How come you didn't replace it with another 1500?

Had to use the equity I had to get my wife's car and me a truck.

I had nothing against Tacoma's. She wanted a prius. Just got a better deal trading it in toward 2 vehicles.
