I stripped a couple of the threads in the floorpan bolt holes while installing my bucket seats and finally figured out a good way to solve the problem. Say hello to heavy duty masonry anchors (my new best friend)

I had to drill out the hole just a little to fit the anchor. All it really did was remove all the threading, but it was all stripped out anyway. Then just tighten the nut and cut off the extra thread. I accidentlly cut into the nut a little. No big deal.

I decided to paint the new bolts black.

That was my first thought as to how the seat should be fixed. The only problem is that there's no way to get a bolt behind there, as far as I know. Most "anchor" type mounts are weak which is why I didn't consider it at all until I stumbled across these stout masonry anchors. Believe me, they are every bit as strong as the factory bolts. Besides that, it's the seatbelt that hold you in place, not the seat, when you get in a wreck.

Yep, it was a hit and run, not fun. I'm fairly certain this will hold, especially considering how easy it was to strip the floor pan. Plus, there's not that much space between the seat and the back of my regular cab and I always make sure my headrest is set right.
