    Hey Tacoma world,

Quick question.. I apologize in advanced as I am fairly new to the "truck world". I plan on driving this truck to the ground. Personally reliability is my first priority and secondly comes mpg due to my everyday commute. Practical is my middle name. I don't plan on lifting the truck because I don't need it, my truck performs fine for my weekend adventures as is. And again reliability is important and I don't want to be swapping out drive line components in the future.

I finally picked the tire I will be purchasing but now I'm stuck on what size to get. (i.e. on Stock trd sport wheels)

I've been told the bigger tire you go it will decrease mpg due to the weight. Also can a bigger tire size put more stress on drive line components. I know if you don't get a proper suspension lift it's possible but can larger tires do the same?

I have a trd sport. 265/65 17.. What size do you recommend? I've been seeing a lot of 265 70 17 but I feel that will decrease my mpg too significantly. I am considering just sticking with stock size so I don't have to deal with speedometer changes etc. Thanks for the input

    Stick with your stock size
