    I make my pie crusts with lard. And when a cookie recipe calls for shortening they get made with lard. And I make my homefries in fatback lard. :thumbsup:

    Honestly, it's no worse for you than crisco. Higher concentration of oleic acids, too. And it does a better job, so you can use less of it.
