Have ya tried torque checkin your cab/bed mount bolts??? Since most of the leaf spring ubolts were way out of spec, they could easily be an issue.

Good to hear there is no drone. Probably one of my spring projects. I don't want to put it on before winter and all that salt that comes with it.

I put a couple hundred miles on it. Caught someone trying to discreetly video my truck as they passed me as I was driving on the highway.

It never squeeked or creeked till I picked it up this afternoon from the shop after cmc. I'm pretty sure that new plate he welded on should have had a little space between it and the big washer of the cab mount.

Thinking about switching my 1.25" wheel spacers fo 20mm, which is just a hair over 3/4". Anybody know if I would have to shorten the factory studs to make them work?

I talked with a guy today at our car wash that had a full size truck wrapped. It was for a business, so it had advertising all over it. It was pretty slick looking. He said it was $4500.

Look forward to some pics!!! I can clear 255s but thinking about the 265s until I re-gear. Coopers website states the 265s are a true 32" at 32.07.

Take the washer out and grind a flat spot on the side so it's not touching the plate anymore. Hopefully he didn't melt the body mount while welding so close to it. The heat of welding may also have listened the bolt which could cause the noise also. The right thing to do would be to remove the body mount while cutting and welding and then re install and torque to spec when done but it's unlikely 99% of the shops out there care enough to do that.

Yep, I don't know if they did that. Not sure what it should be torqued to. I think I will run it back there on Monday and let them make it right. I hate to be a complainer, but it wasn't squeeking this morning when I dropped it off.
