I had a 03 Impreza wrx. It was built like a tank. Never had any reliability issues when I sold it 90k. I miss and would buy again.

Conversely, you gifted him $335. Read through PayPal's Ts & Cs. I'm pretty sure you're screwed by the terms you agreed to when you sent the money.

If you're gonna send money and someone wants a "gift", offer +3% or whatever the fee is but don't gift unless it's truly a gift. It's worth it for the peace of mind.
