    Except that if GM, Ford and Chrysler fall to the wayside, we will be forced to buy the products of a diminishing supplier base and possibly have fewer choices.

    None of this matter, the Koreans and Chinese are going to take over the auto industry.

    couldn't agree more, this will just keep toyota on their toes. lets not forget American cars use to be badass back in the day. they got lazy and now they cant make a quality product to save their company, literally.

    good move on GM's part, i've always loved my corvettes. But you cant argue with toyotas overall reliability. I'm happy with my purchase with toyota. It'll blow over eventually.
