    So I finally got some funds to
    -buy aftermarket uca
    -new LCA
    -new coils to lift truck instead of my Billy's set at 2.5
    -wheel bearings
    -wheel spacers.75 inch
    -brakes and rotors
    -stiffen leaf spring to hold more weight in bed.

    Does anyone have anything for sale that would work for me that I would be interested in and what do you guys suggest for brand and type ?

    I'm getting ready to purchase the ome coils and I can't decide what coil is best for me, I want 2.5 inch of lift with my adjustable Billy's I don't have a winch or a front bumper and don't plan on it what do you guys recommend?

    My access cab got 2.5" of lift from 885 coils with 5100s set at the lowest notch. The Dakar leaf springs are a good option. You'll want an extended travel rear shock so the shock isn't the limiting factor for down travel. The Dakar AAL is overkill for most trucks. Only add it if you plan to carry around 500 pounds more often than not.

    Buy new parts, not used- well maybe the coils, but you never know what used springs have been through. And you won't find used Dakars. Everyone keeps them because they're that good.

    Well with that being said, I haul a quad in the bed of my truck that is 700 pounds but for only one month out of the year, what leaf spring set up would you recommend then ? Then I will go with the 885 thank you for the advice I really appreciate it .

    Dakars without the AAL will be fine for that. They'll squat a little. If you add the AAL, you'll have more rake when not loaded, but the ride will be fine. You're more likely to get driveline vibes with the AAL too - which is easy enough to deal wit, it's just another thing to deal with.

    As far as the rear leaf spring I was looking at getting a aal from icon and adding if to my factory leaf pack . Is this a good idea for my situation ?

    You measure the angle of the rear u joints and either do a CB drop or pinion shims to make the angles cancel each other out.

    If the bushings are not seized, just grease the hardware and you're fine. I replaced mine at 75K because they had been seized for a long time already.

    Depends on what you're looking for. An AAL on stock springs is a slight improvement, but a full leaf pack is a major improvement. You can fine tune full packs by adding or removing a leaf or two.

    I found them on rockauto for mogg LCA 130 a piece and I'm just wondering if it's worth me replacing them after 184k miles I'm doing uca and wheel bearings and brake rotors at the same time. I don't know a lot about these trucks but is the lower control arm bushings something to worry about with as many miles as mine has ? Or should I just leave them be ?
