Not old Euro diesels...
My 97 Jetta gets me 41-45 mpg and still small and light enough to carve turns in. and a trunk big enough for 2 spare tires and a room for 2 dead hookers lol

So I found out the hard way that trail gears Tacoma bumper doesn't fit a 3rd gen without some serious modification. No bumper for me today

 

The 4Runner frames are different. Not sure why they did that

 

Yup. That and we have an ac line that cuts right across where the crash bar needs to go. I could have worked with the frame a little, but there's no making room for that line

 

I know the Tacoma ARB bumper fits with some modifications

 

Yeah I'm either going to look at cbi or attempt to build my own with my boyfriend's help haha

 

If relentless fab still did DYI kits I would recommend that. CBI makes nice bumpers as well

 

@t4r4life has that bumper on his 3rd gen and I believe just notched the crossmember to fit the AC line.

 

So we considered that. But we still have about 2 inches to go for the holes to line up on my frame but can only notch about an inch off the crash bar. If that makes sense. I'm just thinking about giving it to my boyfriend for his Tacoma haha

 

There you go and make him buy/build you one

 

That's the plan so far haha we have access to a water jet and whatnot, we just have to design it

 

There is a guy on T4R that sells designs for the 3rd Gen
