Who cares about the cardboard...what you don't see is the gas can on the other side of the bench. :bananadance:

    Just kidding. Haha

But there are at least two extinguishers within 6 steps of me.

And if those don't do it...I'll throw it out the open garage into the snow.

For those of you who put sound deadening on the back panel, did you cover the vents?

I don't know why everyone is so crazy about quieting down their cabs....I drive with the windows down and I like to listen to my truck and take notice when sounds change coming from it...knew I had a nail in the passenger front tire before the tps came on in the dash because I could hear it hitting the road every rotation of the tire when there was a divider next to me on the highway

Cool thank you, that's definitely what it felt like... Am I doing any damage by trying to get it to release by driving? Is there a better way to get it to release? Unfortunately my driveway is on a hill so I don't think I can really avoid using the parking brake all together.

You should be ok for the most part. I've never seen damage caused by it, just major inconvenience. Might need new pads in the spring if it happens a lot. Maybe carry a deadblow/or heavy rubber hammer to whack the backing plate if it's real stubborn

You might try a liberal application of WD-40 on the e-cable sheath and all the moving parts, except inside the drums of course. That should help repel the water/ice and prevent rust at the same time. Not sure about the 2nd gens, I think your cable runs different than the 1st, but I can crawl underneath mine and yank the cable to release it if needed.

I have two like this and they were a huge pain to work around cause they're so flimsy. Might go back and cover just one.

Looks good!!just piece it in,take your time.
I was able to use a good pair of scissors to cut the odd shapes.. The doors are even more of a challenge especially my back doors in the access cab... I just made it fun like putting together a puzzle:D

Better to ask what I have not done.
Covering them you will notice a more solid thud because of air pressure. But your toons will sound better. Leave them open if you have sensitive ears.

    None, but willing to learn.
Hey guys and gals. Could use a little help:

Somehow I ripped the 4 wires out of the female end of the rear ABS connector. There are 4 different color wires on my 2011. Black, yellow, white, and tan. Because the wires pulled out of the connector I'm not sure which wire goes to which connector on the female end.

    Here's a pic.

    IMG_4286.jpg

It would help me a ton if someone knew (or had a pic) how these wires connect. The gray ABS connector is located on the bracket above the black connector also shown in the pic. Both are located above and behind the rear axle.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

    Coming along nicely.

Second aux fuse panel and compressor relay will go on the mount in the far corner. The top of The water tank and pump are behind The little piece on The right.

I'm not sure how I've made it this far without a welder! I keep firing it up for little things here and there.
