What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

How was attaching it to the hood? Herd it's a little nerve wracking, making sure the drill bit doesn't go to far... Any special or specific tools you used?

 

It was a little crazy drilling into the hood but super simple i just went slow to make sure I didnt push to hard and dimple the top of the hood. Only special tools were a 3/16" drill bit and a rivet gun. rivets and everything else included with struts. Took maybe 20 minutes taking my time.

 

I hauled a TV with it. In case you were curious, the biggest you can fit in the 5' bed is a 65" TV kitty corner.

Small mod, but for someone like me with OCD, it was BIG!! ha ha, had the USB jack moved from the dash to the glove box so I can keep my ipod concealed and not have to see any wires.. It's the little things!

 

Finally got around to finishing the ARB compressor install. The internet is good for many things but not much on Tacoma specifics for the 3rd gen. Ended up using add a circuit for the ignition and illumination wire. Much easier and cleaner than t-tapping a wire.

 

Does the engine air filter make a lot of noise? The TRD exhaust makes just the right amount of sound so don't want to make things too loud.

Had my Mobtown off-road sliders installed today. Got to say I love this board for helping me find this company. Can't say enough about my new 0 degree with bump out, high grit powder coated sliders!

 

Actually i really like my silver color, its the first silver vehicle i've owned. Dirt doesn't show .. on sunny days the metallic silver pops, on cloudy days it looks almost like the cement gray
