I tried to watch it through but couldn't really understand, did they undercoat it poorly? Or, did it pass the frame recall when it shouldn't have?

I messaged @CBoy808 here on TW and asked him to draw it up for me. He's done a lot of decals for people on here. Shoot him a message with what you're looking for.

So apparently a new version of software for the automatic transmission came out in the US on November 15th and they amended the TSB. Does anyone know if the Canadian TSB was updated as well?

Usually the Canadian TSB follows a few days or weeks after the American one. My truck isn't really showing signs of needing it so I have been waiting for a "final" TSB.

I'm with you, mine is doing "okay", the only complaint is highway. The slightest incline or headwind and it downshifts.

I can wait, but keeping an eye out for improvements.

There's a thread about it, i just read it's behaving better than the previous TSB. I'm sure we'll know more as people get a chance to try it out.

So after being in Maui for my honeymoon the past 10 days I've learned two things:

    1) holy shit, Hawaiians LOVE tacomas. Literally tacos everywhere, they also love super lifts lol.

    2) the quicksand colour is amazing in real life. Super jealous we have no double cab configurations that come in QS here in Canada, I've had serious envy with my MGM while here

    That is all

Also just got back from 10 days in Oahu. Could not believe how many Tacomas I saw. My guess is 60-70% of all pickups are Tacomas. I am in Canada and drive a 2017 Tacoma Double Cab Off-Road in Quicksand. Go to Toyota.ca, and you can configure one in QS.

Yeah 2 years ago we were in Kauai for our honeymoon as well. The Tacoma must the the official vehicle of the local populace.

At the time I was driving an Acura TSX and prior to that I had wanted a Tacoma for damn near 10 years. After that Hawaiian vacation my love for the Tacoma returned.

Needless to say that trip is to blame for my new truck. The wife always says "shit if it wasn't so beautiful I might regret it" about Hawaii.

I just started driving with ECT on yesterday. Needless to say I might just turn it on everytime I drive now. My gas mileage is pretty close to what I get with it off and I don't have to downshift 2 gears for large inclines now.

Then again the smile it puts on my face would be worth 0.5-1 l/100km if that is what it averages out to be. Admittedly I have been a tad more aggressive these last 2 days.

I drove an OR before taking my sport home. The OR ride is stiffer
