They come with wheels? I'd be interested and local to you, but I've got 16" wheels

No wheels, tires only. You could probably find a set of 17s on Craigslist for decent money

Whats up new englanders? I'm hoping you all might point me in the right direction here.

I have friday off of work and was thinking I could take my dog, mountain bike, and truck on a weekend camping getaway before the deep cold sets in. Id love to have some roads to explore in the truck as well as some terrain for my bike. Dispersed (free) camping would be pretty cool too. I've been looking around the forest service website and have found some info about where to hike and bike, but not quite sure on where I might get my truck a little dirty.

Seems like level 2 roads would be something to look for, but I don't see any good maps. There is the MVUM map, but I didn't quite understand what was going on with that. I've used MVUM maps out west, but this Green Mountain one doesn't seem to have too many forest roads listed...

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Probably Fri and Sat night camping out and then come home on Sunday.

Link works. A very interesting settlement. The 2nd gen remained unchanged for 10 years, yet this only applies to 05 - 10 model years. I'm no lawyer, but I can only hope that Toyota corrected their costly mistake starting in 2010, and that there's strong evidence to support this claim prior to the settlement. VT winters and mud season certainly put all auto frames to the test, so time will tell...

If I recall, they changed the supplier of the material for the frame in '10. I think @js312 knows more about it...

Hey Chris! I'm doing alright. Been really busy the last couple of weeks between having to travel all over for job interviews and safety training.
Luckily things are slowing down this week just in time for Thanksgiving. I was able to get time off so I only have to work tomorrow, then I'm off for the week.
How have you been? Is there snow down there yet?

    Excellent. Sounds good.
Snowing all day. Hoping for a better season than last year.
Good luck with the interview. Hope it is what you want.
    You staying close?

Yeah you're not kidding about hoping for a better season.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I've got a lead that there could be an opportunity close by that would be immediate.
The other would be based out of NY, near Utica, for some time (next year at some point) then I'd be transferring back closer to the Berkshires. But still in VT.
I'd be more than happy with either option.

Thanks again. It's easy to take the plunge when the company you work for is in bankruptcy and can't guarantee your job 3 months out.
The best time to find a new job is when you've got one.
    Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Yup, Dana sold their structural division to Metalsa in 2010, so 2011+ trucks should have Metalsa frames under them.

Ford, Chrysler, and GM also use Metalsa as a frame supplier. Though Ford (possibly others too) has a second supplier because of their volume.
