    I think I've settled on a tube bumper or hybrid. I want to buy one bare, I can get it painted cheap. Also can cut and weld in plate between gaps, so maybe just a tube bumper to start

    No deer today :( shot right over the back of a very nice 8-10 point! My nerves got the best of me when I saw his big ass walking down the log road, big bodied, really symmetrical rack. All around a pretty buck, neck was a a little swollen from the rut too, looked tasty! I'm just glad they were moving as cold as it got last night into this morning and it was windy all day. I gave it up around 3 and came to the house.
