Does anyone know where this GIF is originally from? I want to see the whole thing because I think it's pretty hilarious.

I think he's referencing bombing through said mud holes/puddles which is what ruts them up. Rock climbing and driving the trails is fine. Big rutted out mud holes are the type of thing that gets places shut down. Environazis get a hard on for them and complain to das guberment until all vehicular use of said area is prohibited.

Ah okay I've had my fun in puddles so I can't comment. They're more fun on pavement with people on the adjacent sidewalks though.

That's a Jeep Cherokee engine. One of the throttle body lines came undone and it died. Ironically a few moments after he was saying he drives that thing everywhere and never has issues.....

That's exactly what he's talking about. And the hammering coming out of puddles to spin tires. Not to mention hammering it through puddles drives all that water and dirt into seals, bearings, etc under the truck. So all your trucks are going to be fucked up sooner.

I think you guys are exaggerating a bit. We weren't booking through all of the puddles and I doubt any of us did any wheel spinning on flat ground besides myself and a Jeep which did the rocky hill. It was a one time thing, regardless of how fast you're going through a puddle it'll make the displacement wave unless you plan on going through at idle speeds in which case you'll wind up getting more sediment in the pulleys and bearings from going too slow and soaking in them. If you pro's would like to lead a run and show us how to properly drive through a washed out area I'd be more than happy to learn. But until then I suggest checking yourselves before accusing us of digging the spots up when we go there what, 4 - 5 times a year compared to the local hunters and idiots up there partying and doing much more damage.

I guess we should be expecting signs posted along with the no hunting signs we saw while we were out there...
