OP, Ive seen some seat lowering kits for the Gen 1, perhaps the 3rd Gen has a kit out there. Seen seats literally sitting on the floor which might help your issue without messing with the suspension

Seriously? What kind of dumbass design doesn't put an ohh shit handle on the driver's side? Seem like the want the driver to lack a way to brace themselves in an ohh shit emergency

...^^^... I really miss that handle on the driver's side ... miss it a lot ... now have to use the steering wheel as a grab bar.

Well I had a buddy with a jacked up Chevy on 40in tires.... I opened the door and jumped up to get in looking to grab one.... And busted my ass when there wasn't one to grab...

If I was riding with someone and they chose to dedicate thier left hand to an oh shit handle rather than the steering wheel in an emergency then we couldn't be friends anymore

So if u was rolling over you wouldn't want then to have one? Or if u look up in your rearview and your about to get rear ended with nowhere to go you wouldn't want then to brace themselves?

Not a fan of the awkward location.

I'm 6'6"... a little awkward to lean all the way forwards to grab it.

    Steering wheel works great!

Two hands on steering wheel. Don't have a third hand for an oh-shit handle.

I use the hell out of the oh-shit pedal though. Fuckwads and their cell phones...

If you have time to grab that handle the you have time to do something more productive than grab that handle
