Nascar

So this will be my first year of watching Nascar, I think im going to try and follow a season this year. I personally am going for Dale Jr., and one else a fan and who are you routing for?

 

I have been a NASCAR fan forever and have been racing off and on at a local track since 86. I root for Mark Martin and Bobby Labonte! Dale is good if he can figure out the new car.

Oh! also I'm a little confused when this years season starts. What is the schedule for races and when is the bud pole shootout

I like Stewart and Newman. Ive gotten so bored with it that i only like about 12 races. Hopefully the spoiler change will bring back some real racing instead of follow the leader

 

First points race (for Sprint Cup) is the 500 on Feb 14th. there are about 87000 races leading up to it.

Pretty much. There are qualifying races during the week when everyone's at work. Then teh shoot out and support races from teh Trucks and Nationwide series.

the 24 Hour sports car race is in there somewhere, too.

 

good luck with the whole pulling for number 88. even having the best damn equipment cant help him. sorry.......he just cant drive worth a rip.


anyway.........my drivers are matt kenseth and kyle busch. hoping kenseth has a better year.

 

The 24 hours of Daytona is this weekend. I would rather watch that than the Daytona 500. To me bump drafting is not racing, but that's just my opinion. The great thing about auto racing is that there are many forms to choose from.

 

im hoping so. i still cant stand the car of tomorrow tho.

 

Gotta like the ol' man (Mark Martin). Stewart has come a long way in the last 2 years.
If Jr ever figures the car out he'll be great until then.....

 

Mark Martin at his age is in better shape than a lot of racers. He's a class act too.
