It looks like your group was fine. Check the difference between the two videos.

Ah alright - I didn't watch any of the videos people posted. Some of them gave me a wicked headache trying to focus on the vehicles.

@DoubleRGirl I still need you to let me know if those shims will work... Also make sure the bolts are long enough before you install them - they're 1/4" thick shims and it might force the trans-skid to bend a bit but you should be fine. They're aluminum as well so they don't rust :p

OK guys no reason to get all heated with what Johnny said and if you guys know him like I do you would know he's a super chill guy and no trying to start anything he's only trying to help. @Bruce988jl Jason @DoubleRGirl Rebecca I don't know if you guys remember or not but the last time we went there you guys were leaving me in the dust at some of the larger puddles. I can't view the videos because I'm at work but I think this picture will do.

I think it's the stuff like this that @johnnym John is mostly talking about and it's these types of puddles that I slow WAY down for. It's quite obvious that at times it's soft and that people go tearing through there. Johnnys just trying to educate not be a damper. He said to go slow though this stuff as to not get it closed down - meaning keep it open so that we can go there.

I personally go slow for a few reasons. 1. first and foremost is to not tear it up. 2. is to pick a line that is hopefully not too deep so that I get stuck. 3. is to not get that stuff up in my engine. Ton's of you have heard my truck at start up and it sounds terrible and it's because of water like this getting into stuff and making my idler bearings scream.

With all this said I still like to go out there and have hun. The time we radioed to Jason to gun it through the puddle it was on a section with all small rocks on the trail it was not all rutted up like the spot pictured above

Blurry but you guys get the idea

Moral of the story is have fun but don't give a real enviro natzi any reason to say anything!

I bought a zombie package from Eddy and got front, rear and bolt on sliders. 5.29s would be for 35s and full skids added on. Not sure about strength though

So we all place our orders but ask to have our orders shipped together. I'm okay with it being shipped out your way we see each other often enough I can pick it up whenever we all meet up again.

lax bro,,, been going to that spot and doing the same shit for the last 14 years. that is not what gets this place closed down. its the crazy partys of 100 plus people and fist fights and car fires that always get this place closed. i think i may be a little more familiar with this location than others. myself and my fiance actually go there with trash bags and pick up the trash and shit that assholes leave behind.. believe me driving threw muddy ruts and rocks are the least of the issues at this location...

He is relaxed. He's actually just trying to help out and he's right places DO get closed down for stuff like this and also for the reasons that you stated. I love the fact that you go through and clean up. We should so do this as an organized run. @Sloth Seth where is the majority of this land on? Is it mostly in RI or CT?
