    Damn I have to remove that plastic backing on the seats too? Need those for my dog to have enough room in the back, I might need to start thinking of a different place to put my sub...

    Thanks for the heads up. Will probably be going for the sundown and sealed, since I'm just looking for a simple and clean sounding system this time, dont need the extra thump.

    Just a heads up SunDown subs are known for SPL (Bass) not SQ. But if you just want more thump it won't matter what sub you are going with.

    From what I can see from Jermey's build pics other than the vents the back wall seems to look pretty much the same on 3rd/2nd gen's. @1sttruckguy78 Do you know if the support beam that goes across the back wall the same height as the second gen?

    No worries, I think I may have mentioned the box I have for sale is for a 3rd gen dodge. Probably where I caused the confusion. I just got my truck a couple months ago, and have been watching this site more than posting.

    hmm alright I don't think that will be an issue. Just looking for something a little more tame than my old setup, and I can't imagine a single sealed 10 being comparable to the ported dual 10's I had. But I will probably have some questions/clarifications for you when I do start to go ahead with this project.
