Love the color combo man. Good taste in wheel color choice. Good stuff.

I also used the Rustolium bedliner on my sliders and plan to do the same with my Relentless bumper. It is tough, has a nice reflective hue in it and is very easy to touch it up if you scratch it.

    To all you S/C guys...

I "lost" my super charger on the highway yesterday. No noise and no power... I could rev it to the sky and I didn't hear the supercharger. Had a difficult time holding 70mph up a hill. Mysteriously Came back 2.5 hours later and has been fine ever since...

Edit: No pinging or surging or anything when it wasnt making noise.

It seemed like the nose cone bearings were louder than normal last night. This morning I have some strange belt noise. Unclear what belt the noise is coming from.

Before I go rip anything apart I was going to see if this had happened to anyone else?

Edit: Could that be bad gas or something?

That definitely isn't gas. Sounds like either a bearing broke or your coupler failed. Either way do not drive it and I would remove and inspect. When was the last time it was rebuilt?

No clue on a rebuild. I bought it off a wrecked truck that had 120k. All the bearings are tight and had plenty of grease when I checked 10k ago... I am assuming that it was rebuild at 90 or 100 given how good condition it was in. The oil that came out of it looked close to new...

I like that theory. I have the dynamic tensioner. Can I get just the spring for it? Or tighten the alternator bracket to try to preload it some more? My OBD2 reader says I am charging at 13 volts, which seems low.

I can think of 4 or 5 people that are actively trying to steal mine within a 250 mile radius. You better get in the car and start driving...

    Some people... lol

Hmm, it could be belt slip depending on the type of tensioner you have and how old your belt is. I would at the very least pull the nose cone off and take a look. Are you able to turn the pulley and hear the rotors turning?

Also clean oil doesn't always mean a rebuild. It takes 5 min to replace the oil (black) and a bit more with the tan one, but a rebuild is much more in depth.

It seems like the dynamic tensioner was harder to pull back than I remember, I was using a shorter wrench though...

The nose cone is tight, little to no play. I can hear the gears moving. There is resistance when I rotate the pulley, but it is constant and does not feel rough at all. Does not feel "tight"

The idler pulley looks like it has been loosing some paint where the belt rides. Worn down to more metal than I remember. The idler pulley did seem a little loose, it made some noise when i rotated it with the belt off. I have been hearing a small rattle under the hood lately. I may try to take that off tonight and see if I can tighten or replace the bearing.

I potentially do. Been considering putting my rear sway bar back on for when the rtt is on top.
