Hitch d ring is good. Tow strap isnt really made for recovery, but it can work. Recovery straps are much safer. I don't plan on beating the crap out of my truck as this is my first time at Hidden Falls. I've conquered some pretty knarly trails in Pennsylvania at Rausch Creek OR park and in Shamokin as well. I'm hoping to pick up some snatch blocks this week for the winch. If there none in store, then Ill have to order some online and I wont have them for this trip.

 

@sarsaparilla should be at HF starting Wednesday I think.

 

My next purchase is going to be a Voodoo off-road recovery rope. But I won't have it before Saturday.

 

Have to check that out. I've been looking at Bunba rope.

I have some tree straps, recover strap, hitch d-ring, shackles, snatch blocks, and a winch. We should be good to get anyone out of anywhere.

 

Love or hate them, 4 wheel parts usually has the smittybilt and arb snatch blocks in stock. I drive by it every day if you want me to stop in and grab something for you.

FYI, anyone camping that needs firewood, I have more than plenty that I need to be rid of. It's cedar, most of it has been down for a while so it's good n dry. Just needs to be cut up in to smaller pieces. I can provide chain saw and wheel barrow, and even help you load. If you don't know, I'm about 20 min east of Hidden Falls. Just let me know if ya need any.

I havent measured exactly yet, as its all still settling. But its real high. Id guess somewhere around 7" maybe

Yeah, shes sittin' pretty damn close to level for now. But i do have those procomp coilovers cranked up pretty good. I have the coils compressed about 2" themselves right now. Prob gonna back em off a bit cus its STIFF.
