I'm from IL, best thing is plan for/expect the worst, hope for the best. Rust is fun that way, I don't miss it at all !
Start soaking the front leaf pack eyes and bolts in PB Blaster so who ever helps you has a fighting chance, worst case is you have to cut the bolt because it is seized in the sleeve inside the rubber bushing ( having new bolts in hand would be a good idea too )
Soak all the u-bolt and shackle nuts as well.
It may just come apart easy, but then again, you may end up cutting things apart (worst case)
You won't know until you do it

Sure, will start doing that. Did you replace the front suspension too (I will look your threads if that's posted). I did research and came up with a list of parts that I thought are needed for this. Can I PM you and you can suggest if I am missing any.

Edit: I found your post that mentioned about your changing the front suspension.

I think it's a truck I saw at a campsite in Stone Mtn NC. front/rear bumpers by that same company. Fox lift. if it's the same guy, he bought it like that from a dealer lot.
