Be sure both the leather and the dye job is of the highest quality. In high temperatures the bra will trap moisture and if the dye is substandard it will stain your bumpers. I've seen it take days for the bumpers to return to the normal color after removing the bra. I don't find it distracting but that's just me. The same thing goes for any other leather accessory. A temporarily discolored receiver or stinger isn't the end of the world and can even be a good conversation starter but some are slightly embarrassed by the look.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
We do the drive from Florida to Ohio (1200 miles) here and there with our two boston terriers. We rent a car to avoid putting miles on our vehicles, mainly do to concern on rock chips etc.

We typically pay 300 a week for the rental. Last time we got a prius and that alone made it cheaper to rent a car than driving one of our vehicles due to 45mpg.

Wow, thanks for all the replies.

Reason I'm taking the truck is because it'll be mid December going through the Midwest. We don't want to get stuck somewhere due to snow.

It'll be an alright trip. It's spanning 14 days total. I drive a car for a living so I plan on making two 14 hour trips. Shouldn't be too bad. Plus it'll be an opportunity to break the new rig in.

I had priced out 3m film but the cheapest I've found was $1,800 to do the whole front.... Was hoping I could save and get something leather but reading these comments makes me not want one anymore haha. Anyone in San Diego know a decently priced shop for 3M?

Decal free visors, Washable cabin air filter, Overhead consol auto dimming override switch, BulletProof Fabricating Skid plate, 2lo module.
Clear plasti-dip is $6 a can here. Mask off what you don't want sprayed. Clean and wax were you are spraying. Make sure you put down multiple coats I would think 2-4 cans would do it. And if you absolutely don't like it peel and toss. Easy protection that don't cost a arm and a leg.
