X2... If you buy wheels from tire rack or similar, they usually have the ID codes on the paperwork or can get them to you. If not, do what is posted above - most garages that repair tires have a code reader that picks up the signals. Better yet, if you get new wheels for winter, have the new sensors 'cloned' to be the same codes as the old ones...

 

Don't really have "time" to do it myself because of the kiddos. Wish I could though.

Don't have one of those around here... Just need the wheels put on. They already have tires on them.

Gotta find out more about TPMS and stuff. Kinda "noobish" when it comes to that tech talk stuff.

Was busy all morning and thread blew up. Gotta look into the tire swap a bit more.

 

I'm old enough to have worn out the tape of that many years back. I was probably the only one in Hingham MA who ever heard of them.

You'd have to REALLY work at it with other stuff, I suspect.

You know, like cooking and stuff, obviously...

 

This thing in a plastic case you used to listen to prerecorded music on in your car or house back in the day. You'd need skills to drive and dodge the dinosaurs with one hand while flipping the tape if your deck didn't have auto reverse.

 

On another note..

I do not have an EZ-Pass. I have to go to Watertown tonight. Are they doing a pay later thing if you don't have an EZ and if so how do I do that?

 

They will just send you a paper bill in the mail

 

I'm guessing you can just go through any lane and that will happen?

Hope so. I'll get the damn thing if it ends up cheaper but just slipped my mind and I only do that drive every 6 weeks.

Yup exactly. They basically send the bill to the address associated with your plate

 

Doesn't matter what lane you are in anymore since its suspended above the road. Scans the EZ pass if you have one, if not like Sloth said, they mail you a bill.

 

No more toll booths anymore

 

No more actual toll booths in MA anymore. Instead we have the gantrys like NJ/ high speed easy pass lane at the Hampton tolls in NH

 

the toll booths have been closed down last couple of weeks for construction anyway

 

They will bill you using your Plate #. So just steal someones plates and you'll be fine.

 

As in not collecting?

Oh they collect, they have the fast lane cameras etc, all over the hwy. if you don't have a tag they use your reg to bill you like $5 or something.

 

Crooks, it was 1.25 before for each way.

Hoping my GPS can find some way around the tolls just this once.
