As stated, there are no longer any active toll booths, they take a photo of your plate number and, if you don't have EZ Pass, they'll mail you the bill. From the time the automatic system went active, which was a couple weeks ago, there is a 6 month grace period in which they'll only mail you the bill for the toll, no penalties. After that, they'll start assessing penalties if you don't have EZ Pass. Chris, for tonight, you'll just get a bill for whatever the toll is.

Yea you can go through any lane, they don't even have the Toll Booths anymore. It is definitely more expense if you don't have an EZ-Pass (~$0.40 per toll and the tolls are more frequent)

Except they relocated at least one of them. Now, I have to hit a toll every day where as before I could avoid them.

I got a $50 fine from the MA Pike a few months ago. I have EZ Pass and went through and it says it didn't pickup my transponder when I know it works fine. Had to appeal and send proof of my EZPass and then they said it was a $5 paperwork fee to clear it up. Thieving bastards, not my fault their system sucks ass!

Here in NH if you go through the high speed lane without EZ Pass you just go online and punch in your plate number and you can pay for the toll within 7 days. But if you don't then they send you a fine. You never get a bill mailed to you for the toll, just the violation when you don't pay within 7 days.

Last year my brother got hit with a couple hundred dollar fine for going through the high speed lane too fast. He says he was doing 80, but I'm guessing he had to be doing ~95 for something like that. Plus he is an idiot for not slowing down to at least 75 before hitting the gantry.

He had to have really been moving, because everybody (myself included) does 80-85 through the speed lanes here and I've never heard of anybody getting a speeding ticket.

That's not a bad system because, lets face it, not everyone wants to or will get EZ Pass.
Rob, @mach1man001 had them a while back.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I had them before. Not bad but as they wear the center lugs are not cut as deep so you end up having a solid center rib. It's not from overinflation it's the design of the tire.

    From my truck

I had them on my last tacoma. Lasted about 45k miles. Were really good in the snow drove through a snow storm from Albany to MI without any issues even with trucks going off the road. Decent off road as long as it wasn't to muddy. Pretty quiet on the road. Def a light tire so didnt affect MPGs.

I found the same thing out on mine. 45k and the center lost its sipping and that was the end of winter traction
