Anyone able to get a hold of Trac Performance? I've tried a message on here, the phone number listed on their website, and what was given to me as Andrews cell from another TW member.

Saying they are lighter is kinda a mute point since your using the same wall thickness, the whole point of chromoly is same strength with a thinner wall to make it lighter, but sliders actually being used as sliders you want that wall thickness on the rocks cause they get pretty abrasive after a while. Nice clean design tho just the choice of chromoly is kind of pointless for skidder bars

The 1.5" option is nice tho I dig that.

The front body mounting thing, what if you want to run big tires? You have to chop most that inner mount off will the slider be in the way?

valid point on the weight, tubing thickness was kept the same to keep in line with industry standard of .120 across the board. Its a 10 lb difference for an 11,000 lbs strength increase.

front mount works with a Cab mount chop. those are mounted on my truck with the cab mounts already trimmed.

we also weighed these against a set of 2" square main/1.75" DOM outers we have here for a build from another brand. Our larger option was 12lbs lighter per side, 22lbs lighter on the 1.5" version, and still stronger.

Ok now you might be on to sumthing 1.75 DOM sliders are already plenty for a slider, so yea stronger ones is cool on paper but in the real world for what they are used for not necessary. The weight tho that's pretty cool, be cool to see what a thinner chromoly tubed slider would handle abuse wise and be like 50lbs lighter overall....that! Would be some stellar shit!, either way they look good.

I will say that the taper that's on like BAMF sliders is a real helpful attribute opposed to straight ones from my personal rock sliding engagements which happens pretty dang often

I'm gonna be in the minority hear. I'm all for the lighter options. These trucks are already lethargic at best compared to most full sized trucks, so I'm about saving weight where it can be saved. I'm kinda surprised you are jumping into the slider market. Especially using cro-mo. It's a tough sell considering the majority of the market can't tell the difference between a nicely crafted slider and some junk some guy builds in his back yard with a HF mig welder.

I do really like your front mount it's different and something that's never crossed my mind. They look to be a solid product, hopefully Tacoma owners appreciate it.

My least favorite part of building cars for myself. Getting nickel and dimed on the last few little parts. $650 never looked so little, lol. And people wonder why it's so expensive to link a truck.

I don't doubt it. I'm 7k into links and I'm building everything. Haven't even started building a rear end yet
