It's cool man, I've been on car forums for years. Wont hurt my feelings. I still love the Tacoma it just didn't fit my needs at the moment. I work in a fire dept where there all all makes of truck. Honestly they are all decent and each make has lemons.

My biggest thing is, I refuse to argue over undeniable figures/facts. As soon as people start arguing, I go into dick mode to entertain myself. I don't need to teach myself the mechanics.

I was close to buying a Sierra. I actually bought this from Buick GMC dealer. It just made financial sense for me. Once kids come into play everything else sits on the back burner.

Yep, what I was getting at, same thing here, gets tiring and makes me not want to answer anyone's questions. This section is the worst (3rd gen), so many people who contribute nothing but arguing and spitting out incorrect information and nonsense.

It's the same anywhere. I used to be the wizard of Pontiac G8's as I know most of the systems inside and out. More and more newbies thought they knew more and constantly wanted to argue. So I left the community, and I won't answer calls or PM's.

I just sit back and drag their ass at the track. My car sits there and the hood is never popped all week. While others are constantly fixing stuff

Eh, carrying gas cans sucks, IMO. If you have to do it you do it, but I look for other options. I converted my generators to propane so I don't have to carry and refuel gas cans. The less gasoline carried the better. I was surprised a Gen3 redesign did not include a larger fuel tank. Seemed like that was no-brainer.

I was the biggest Toyota fanboy until I bought a GMC. Now after 4 toyotas and 2 GMCs I wouldn't even consider a Toyota truck again. The domestic companies are light years past Toyota technology. The realistic reliability is just as good and parts are cheaper and easier to get.

You'll like the f150, if you want plush the lariat or platinum are the way to go. There is honestly a lot of hard plastic in the XLT trim but I don't touch my dash for pleasure. I'd probably go for the v8 for longevity. The 5.0 seems to be a good motor.

Depends on how often you need to use those gas cans. I can see them being a pain if you use them once a week. I'll use mine once a year at most, and suspect most people will fall into this category. Much cheaper than switching vehicles and paying premium for a diesel.

S Crew Lariat 5.0 would be the contender along with the same in FX4.
