My wife has been floating the idea of a camper... when I had my Tundra, there was no problem. Now that the towing has been downgraded to 3500 lbs, it's a slim picking. What you guys pulling?

I've been looking at something with a queen bed and double bunk, but it's pretty difficult.

    Is it 3500 or 6500lbs?

    Jayco 195rb Baja
    3100lbs dry

There is another Jayco similar in size that has bunks but the queen bed is not walk around. I can't remember that model number.

The towing capacity stays about the same, it looks like you have the double cab in your picture. If you have the V6 which i'm guessing you do (with the tow package), if you have 2WD the towing capacity is 6700, if you have 4WD it is 6400.

You'll be happier staying around 3500lbs. The taco does allright but pulling 6500lbs would be miserable lol!

Without the tow package you are still at 3500 pounds but you have the option of upgrading your truck to make it tow more since you have the v-6.

My wife and I just got the Jayco JayFlight SLX 154BH and love it so far. We moved up from tent camping and just wanted something basic. We're both smaller people and it's a good size for us. Picked the bunkhouse model so we could use that area for storage once we get set up. It's easy to tow and was within the budget we set for TV and TT.
