I've been wanting one of these for a while. How do you feel about it after putting some rounds through it?

I have to say great choice! I bought mine in 2012 and it has been perfect ever since. I made a few changes to it and now its perfect. Enjoy it when it gets in.

Lol, that's just it, this kind of thing usually doesn't happen to me either.

I had this show up on my doorstep yesterday too. Although I DID order these things
    this time.
Some magazines, ammo and a couple AR15 armorers kits.

Speaking of that stuff Palmetto State Armory is having some nice Black Friday deals right now.

Change the barrel, or upper? I'm still learning all the modifications to these contraptions. I'm coming from bolt rifles, pump shotguns, and doubles (both rifles and shotguns).

The largest negative to me is the fixed front site. But, quite honestly, all the positives of the firearm as a whole outweighed that one negative. Also, it seems, Cabelas actually had it in stock and I can pick it up in the morning despite their staff saying it was out of stock (without looking).

I just ordered a Hipertouch 24E trigger for my AR. I didn't get anything done today trying to decide which trigger to buy.

I had the same thing happen with my vortex scope recently. It went from California to Washington for a couple days and then came back to New Mexico. It took about 6 days longer than it should have.

Will do. I really wanted the 24C but I figured it would be a little too light with no pre travel for a do it all rifle.

I only fired about 200 rounds or so myself..And i love it very accurate with little recoil. I always wanted a Beretta and this one feels modern, lightweight and a stainless slide that should hold up better around salt water. I'm no expert on guns but i don't see myself buying another 40 S&W after this.

Picked up a 7" geissele MK8 rail yesterday off their BF sale. Bummed, I wanted to also get their steel braided buffer spring and buffer, but it went out of stock minutes before my order.

Love mine except I've destroyed three mags by...shooting them. Feed lips are completely gone on one. Stress cracks on a couple more. I'd love Lancer to announce some aftermarket mags...

Still a cool platform. They'll get the mags figured out.
