When's the next sale? Also, how hard is the tailgate reinforcement & cap to install?

Having a tough time deciding between aluminum or steel skid plates. What are the pros or cons in aluminum vs steel? I know steel is stronger and aluminum is lighter, anything else besides that?

    That about sums it up.

Go with the steel ones. Who cares about weight? Fat trucks need love too.

Hmmm...if I would have known you were that easy to convince, I would have talked you into the more expensive aluminum skids. You know, they are lighter!

Recreational offroader, those aluminum plates may be right for me-
Powder coat em to make match the Pro front?

I would. Honestly, the amount of time it takes to prep and paint any armor is not worth it to me and I'd rather pay to have stuff powder coated. Plus if you scratch it, it is an easy touch up with spray paint.

I agree with Mobtown. I prepped and painted my skids myself, turned out to be a big pain in the ass. Would have ordered them powdered if it was an option at the time.
