How much are you paying for your 2017 Tacoma?

I bought my used '16 Taco 1700 miles away, no regrets so far; only been a week.

Best deal in Oregon I got was 35,200.

 

That is a very good point. That convenience of having such amenities is not worth it when considering how much i'll save further upstate. Thank you!

I recently traded my 09' Taco TRD Sport access cab with AT for a '17 Taco TRD Sport access cab, V-6 with AT. Total invoice for the '17 was $33,320 and total MSRP was $35,569. New Taco has towing and all weather floor liners and sill protectors. Invoice and MSRP prices were: base truck $31,662/$33,770, towing $579/$650, floor liners and sill protector $139/$209. My '09 was very clean and had 46,500 miles. I gave $17,000 cash difference not including taxes, title, and license. Those items were: $850, $25, and $254 respectively. Dealer tried to tack on a doc fee of $180 but he ended up dropping it.

It's interesting how the dealers push the numbers around. The first dealer I talked to agreed to sell me the truck for $33,900 or $17,000 and my truck. The dealer I traded with offered the truck at $32,500 but ended up trading for $17,000 and my truck. I live in Iowa and the taxes are 5% of the cash difference when you trade in a vehicle.

 

Just picked mine up today. Got a TRD OR double cab with tow package and weather mats for $33,998, with NC sales tax and tag/title out the door at $35,104

 

Mine is almost 2 weeks old, got the TRD Sport with tow pkg. weather mats and sill protectors out the door $33,026, no tax in Or.

If your in CA and dont want to deal with dealer bs call Cartelligent, Rich, Jules and Justin took are of me. Local dealers wanted $500 over MSRP for the same exact truck. They charge $295 so I guess it was actually $205 under invoice. Either way $3,000 better than any dealer in CA from Central Valley all the way to the coast would offer. I signed the papers and was out the door with the exact truck I asked for in 15 minutes.

$35k over invoice seems a bit steep. You could get 2 tacomas or 1 trd pro for that price.

 

That is a sweet deal. You need to jump on that. I have the same truck only it is a long bed and silver. I paid 40,000 which included taxes

 

IMO if your OTD (Out the Door) price (this includes everything, TTL/Reg/Inspection Sticker etc.) IS STILL UNDER THE MSRP (Window Sticker) YOU GOT A DECENT PRICE/DEAL.

Unfortunately it doesn't end there, Let the "Mods" begin! I'll probably have added another 4K in just the first month of owning it. LOL

 

Sticker price for my double cab '17 TRD sport 4x4 was $38,340. Predator running boards, tow package, all weather mats, ToyoGuard (not by choice), bed lights.

I got a $1,000 for my trade-in and talked them down to $35,100 OTD price including TTL. They were $1,800 under invoice.

Toyoguard is a mandatory package for some dealerships. Runs about $700. I refused to pay for it though so they removed the cost from my OTD price but I still received the package. Its free oil changes and tire rotations, roadside service, and paint protectant. Nothing that valued $700 IMO.

I fought with the salesman for a time to get the price I wanted. I'm having a little buyers remorse for not getting the OR instead of the Sport. They had a blue pearl one for a few grand less. But I love this Sport and have no regrets. Runs superbly.

 

What do you guys think I could get for a SR5 DCSB 2wd with nothing but tow package?

Prices on here are all over the place. OTD price.
