    Nothing special here. It's just a short piece, exact dimension of the tailgate, that rides loose in the back. The mat material is somewhat tacky so it doesn't slide around. I just move it where needed.

    Changed transmission oil. Redline MT90 for 'dat ass....only drove it for a couple miles, but the transmission feels smoother, however my 4th to 5th grind is still there, but oh well, it's got fresh lube in 'her, all is well

    Yup...the covers are the polycarbonate ambers from Rigid. Is what it is I suppose. Any darker and I would probably have zero light output.

    If you're talking about the machined ring, it's originally just bare steel. So gray, steely-ish color if that makes sense?

    LOL!! Working on it while at work today! Just waiting for the ring to "dry" to the switch, and then running out to the truck to glue it to the trim pc. Package said to wait 4 hours, so going to finish it up during lunch.
