Shhh! the wife thinks I dont do mods on trucks anymore
Need photo of impluse red with smoked headlights as I have the chrome around the grill and I like the LED headlights but they are all almost smoked. I like smoked but I want a bull bbar and think the smoked headlights with the chrome surround the grill will look weird.
It will also help me as I am ordering farkles for the truck this weekend as I recieved a bonus.
I have about $1400 and am looking at a undercover ,chrome bull bar ,smoked headlights and some Helio rims.Maybe smoked tail lights as I already have ordered floor mats and a hitch for the light towing I will do
Kinda looked at nerf bars as I wont be doing any real offroading with this truck..
so side steps are a maybe also or mild side bars.
I need pictures of the impluse red with smoked headlights.
I like the smoked headlights and tailights but I worry about that chrome around the grill..

Ideas or suggestions will help .
    Pics will help a lot
I will post as I go

    Thanks Mike

Before too much spent at the tire store!
After too much spent at the tire store
Liquid Metal wingman,Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/50R-20
noticed just a little rub when hitting a dip during a med fast turn.
I can live with it as I want to get rid of the mud flaps anyway and it will be a good excuse to the wife for a upgrade.

looks great.. just do a RevTek leveling kit and no more rubbing... Plus you will be 3" bigger.. I am sure the wife will like that!! :)

Thanks I like the rims :D

    They dont look bad .
My daughter talked me into having the guy roll the liquid metal ones out to the truck and I liked them plus he gave me the buy three get one free so over $350 off the package but they still made out I am sure .
I thought 20s would be too big but the black offset the size just right in my eye .
The smoked headligths are going to work I think . I am still torn between the blacked out and the darker smoke projector wit hled thingys LOL
I think I will end up putting more into this truck the first year than I did my jeep in four years.
We just have to make them ours

I did a three inch lift on my jeep and though the lift came out perfect it was not a stock ride. I do like teh tacoma's lifted but even thought this is four wheel drive I will try hard not to lift it as 99% of my driving will be on the street .Some in Iowa in the winter hence the four wheel drive .
I have done the off road thing and am leaving it behind now
I like the way the tacoma rides now and its the right height for me .
I will most likely live wit hthe rubbing as it is very minor and only once when I hit a pretty good size dip while turning sharp.
Otherwise its riding just fine and I think it looks great .
I have ordered the bed cover and the front bull bar .
waiting for paydays to do led lights for tail and maybe smoked for front

the leveling kit doesn't change the ride in my opinion... just brings the front up to the rears level... i also raised my rear 1 1/4" with the block spacer... (it does make it a bit harder to get into but not near as hard as my old truck with the 6"lift...)
Mine is also a pavement pounder... might see snow once a year and never mud... (don't want to chance throwing a rock and ruining the paint.)
