Can anybody get me some pics of the 09 head unit, both the front and the back where all the connections are. It would be greatly appreciated.

I actually am contemplating obtaining an '09 head unit and putting it in my 05 so I have an aux plug in the rear of the unit... Much prefer the look of the factory unit to ANY aftermarket one.

the wire harness will be the same so you only issue will be finding an 09 cd player. one thing that i will point out is the fact that the plastic in our tacoma's is really soft and when you pull your radio out there are several sharp edges so i would get some blue tape and put it under your heat and air controls.

I thought that as well until I had my Alpine installed. I can only imagine how nice it would be to have a DVD/Nav setup as well.

Here you go ... i might be inclined to sell it, especially if you want the ipod/hd radio add-on's.

How much would you want for it?

Is it just me or can I hook my ipod up directly to the back of the headunit? I don't give a shit about having the HU control the ipod, I'm just sick of having 38038290328cds in my truck and am way too broke to look at any adapter right now.
