    I'm thinking of regearing my taco to 4:10. Has anyone else done this? I found that my tires that I have on it now seems to take the power away form my truck. I noticed it when I'm pulling our Rv trailer. If anyone has any ideas of the gearing I should use or the make of gears that are better than others

    4.10s should be plenty then, unless you plan on going up in tire size.

    I'd agree on 4.10
    Call east coast gear supply, they are extremely helpful and gave me good advice on helping me decide 4.88. Just mailed them off on Friday

    So nitro gears are the way to go then? I'm not sure if east coast gear supply will ship to Alberta Canada though.

    @IgnorantlyAlberta and some of the other Northern brothers might have less expensive recommendations though.

    ECGS might still be the best option. I live just on the south side of the border, so I don't know what shipping charges would be.

    With 4.10s you could also look for junkyard 2.7 4wd second gen Tacos. They came with 4.10s.
