    Does anyone know the year ranges for the side airbags? I'm pretty sure my 06' doesn't have them but not 100%. Just ordered my rack and am curious.

    You should see the labeling on the mounting tabs like this:

    If you want to visually verify, you can pull the headliner away from the roof on the side by the door weatherstripping and should be able to see them right by the edge if they are present. All the ones I've seen so far are covered in pink and white fabric like so:

    So, after much procrastination I finally got around to the install this afternoon. Took about 2.5 hours to drop the headliner, which is supper easy in an access cab, then drill and install all 12 rivnuts. I'm going to let the silicone set overnight then finish in the morning, to include drilling and installing the deck seal for the light bar wiring.

    The pile of trim and such that has to come out to drop the headliner. Nothing is difficult to remove.

    You can see how clean the inside of an 06' is. No airbags, no wiring, no bull shit.

    Man that is clean in there, mine has airbags almost all of the way back. Didn't think I'd be able to install mine. But Zach made me some new longer sides so I'll be able to install mine. He was great to work with.
    Any pictures of the installed rivnuts from the inside?

    You can see one rivnut in the last pic on the right, covered in blue. I don't have any pics up close but I can take some. Tomorrow I'm going to seal up the inside real good, install Dynamat then put it all together.

    Did you have any problems with the plusnut installation? I practiced and couldn't seem to get them consistent. I may go to a rivnut. If you could get a couple closeups that would be great.
    Are you working in a garage, that would be great. I will be working outside, so I need to get it done in one day.
    I Dynamatted the roof when we tried the install in Sept, big difference.
    Good luck on the install. Hope to get mine done soon.

    Yes, I'm working in a garage. As far as I know a rivnut and a plus nut are the same thing, just different brand names???.

    Sorry fellas, didn't get it all finished today. Had a couple turkeys to butcher and didnt get to the truck till 3pm. Got the insulation in. A $100 door kit was almost perfect, wish it had another square foot or two though. Theres a 3 inch wide strip on the leading edge thats not covered.

    Got the rack and lightbar up, and figured out where to drill for the deck seal, but it'll have to wait for another day.
